The boys often walk with John to get the newspaper at the end of our long gravel driveway... they love going for walks in general. It's pretty warm these days, but here are the boys on one of our earlier chilly spring days.

Grandad from San Diego Visits!

I don't get to see my dad very often, but he surprised us with a quick overnight a few months ago. The boys loved him and it was wonderful to see him. This was Luke's first visit with his grandad from San Diego.

We walked over for a quick hello to my mom and grandma-- and my dad took a quick picture of the ladies.


We can't wait for a longer visit-- the boys just loved their funny grandad from sunny San Diego. We enjoyed the visit too:-).

The boys are slowly realizing that Pepe is a fun playmate when they don't chase him or torment him. He's become very patient with them and sometimes let's the boys put toys on him.

Non- traditional Father's Day Weekend!

So, we'll be in the car heading to California most of tomorrow (Father's Day), so our family celebration will take place today. John is off snowboarding with our new friends Jimmy & Shannon and we'll be doing a Father's Day dinner this evening. I'm sure we'll also find some time to play with the Wii and get some fun into this evening.

So here's an early shout out to my hero, husband and the world's best Daddy! We love you, John! Happy Father's Day to all of the Daddy's out there!
